Ning, bringing oriental chic to Manchester

Ning, a Malaysian restaurant situated in the Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre has agreed to sponsor dinner for KNUKE Tour 2009 bands and  Manchester crew. Simplicity and style, quality and value, individuality and hospitality – these are the values that aim to stand Ning out from the crowd. They have a simple, short menu of high quality, good value food and drink, with a twist of individuality and style. Their aim is to do little very well, than try to do a lot not very well.

Set within a simple but chic venue and served by friendly waiting staff, Ning is influenced in concept by trendy noodle bars of Asian cities, with the relaxed and sociable ambience of continental European cafés. Their aim is to be authentic and stylish without the pretension. They are a no-smoking, welcoming and inclusive venue.

They also run both vegetarian and non vegetarian cookery schools. Classes normally take place on a Saturday and begin at 10am running for approximately four hours. They comprise of a workshop-style introduction to the culture, food and kitchen essentials of Malaysia, followed by a full practical session in the Ning kitchen with Ning's Head Chef and visiting tutor.
