The 2011 UK + Eire Tour has come to an end. It has been a great journey and experience for us and everyone who has helped us along the way. This has been the best year so far! Shout outs to our acts this year,Altimet and monoloQue for putting on a great show, for being a good sport despite all the difficulties we faced during the trip. we hope you guys had fun!

For those who have no clue what the hell is KNUKE, there’s a very simple answer to that. These are a bunch of passionate, local music loving people who are dedicated to exposing and growing the Malaysian music scene. Kugiran Negara ke UK Enterprise (KNUKE) started as a novelty project by enthusiastic fans to bring independent band Hujan to the UK in 2008 but has evolved into a more professional and organised group.
Aside from Hujan, KNUKE has also brought Estrella, Seven Collar T-Shirt and Couple to the UK. This year, building on the “Rock Nusantara” theme that basically revolves around artists who proactively include elements of the Malaysian sound into their music, KNUKE will be bringing two Malaysian superstars who are no doubt at the top of their game to UK.
Altimet and Monoloque will be bringing our culture and our sound to the eyes and ears of the English at the same time proving what we have already proved countless times; we have equal if not better talent.
Throughout this tour, they will play 4 shows that span across the UK. Their first stop will be the Copper Room at the Warwick University, followed by a show at the House of Coco Tang in Nottingham, a show at Twisted Pepper in Dublin and finally they rock London at Easy J’s, UCL.
If you somehow do not know who Altimet and Monoloque are, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
Altimet is formerly from the Malaysian groundbreaking hip-hop group Teh Tarik Crew. Since going solo, he has spawned commercially successful hits such as “Chantek”, “Syukur” and “Kotarayaku” featuring Noh Hujan. It is his Malaysian sound infused tracks that have made him a prominent figure in the local hip-hop scene.
Monoloque is the brainchild of Loque formerly of Butterfingers, one of Malaysia’s rock legends. The band recently released a chart-topping hit which featured local songstress Atilia called “Kekanda Adinda”. Frontman Loque is a firm believer in the local arts and the talents we have to offer.
